Duels are close to releasing their new album "The Bright Lights And What I Should Have Learned". After releasing their single Animal and finding that their fan base was sufficiently satisfied...the press is still left wondering what has happened to Duels - what have they been doing for the last 12 months after bursting onto the scene so successfully?
Now REVIEWED HERE!My book is stalled now. I had a word with "the big guy" who is my friend Jon from Duels. He said that the book was a good idea but needed more work. The main storyline was about a foal who wanted to have kittens as brothers and sisters but was beaten down by his alcoholic father. The foal (currently nicknamed Duels) runs away from home to try and take up life with his kitten friend who lives near by, called Foulger. For a while they love it, yunno, frolicking around in fields and sneezing a lot, that kind of stuff. Anyway, sooner or later the father finds Duels and beats him black and blue until he believes he actually IS a kitten. As a kitten he finds that he wants foals as brothers and sisters and ends up living a happy life when his mum gives birth to eighteen foals over a period of two days.
Anyway, as I say, Jon reckons the book is smart but needs lots more work. I say it's good and needs an audience now. If anyone agrees, please feel free to email me at:
